Happy Birthday NDC!

The 25th of this month marked the 2 year anniversary of this blog. I guess my initial prediction of 1 month has been surpassed by a little bit (I've never been good a predicting things anyway).

I never could have imagined the therapeutic value of posting one's thoughts online. To celebrate the birthday of my blog, I went back and read some of my old postings. Lots of memories came back: Whitewater rafting, the Veritek/Arod Brawl, almost getting killed in LBC, and of course the Red Sox winning the World Series. It's just fun to go back in time once in a while. I'm now updating my prediction to: This blog is something I will keep going for a long time.

I haven't posted in a while so let's get on to other stuff...

My softball team is now 4 - 8 with 1 game left to go. We've already doubled our win total from last year so I'm happy with our performance. We started the season 0 - 5 so I think 4 - 8 is a decent accomplishment. I'm prediction a playoff apperance next year.

I recently learned that if you are going to throw your back out, make sure you don't need to drive 4 hours to get home. Not fun... not fun at all.

Anybody want to buy an aluminum row boat? Anyone? Please?

I haven't seen a good movie in a long time. The new Superman was ok. The Squid and the Whale was pretty decent. Other than those, I've gone through a lot of disappointments. The new movie from Broken Lizard looks to be promising. It's called Beerfest. Hopefully it will be of Super Troopers quality. I like to pretend that Club Dread never happened.
