What are the chances?

I've been to 3 baseball games this year. During those 3 games, I got to see 2 different people tie the major league record for most hits in a 9 inning game.

How many times did this happen this year? Twice, and I saw them both. One took place in New York, the other California. What are the chances that I could witness both of these performances? It must be something unfathomable (I probably spelled that wrong). Not to meantion I also saw the worst shutout/loss in Yankee history (sorry but I love to mention that one).

Maybe I should start playing the lottery.
