The Sox are hot, the Yanks are cold, and I am happy boy

Now only 6.5 games out of first, the Sox are now starting their run. The only bad thing is that Texas and Anaheim are hot too. However, I think the Sox are in great shape. Here's my theory as to why the Sox are going all the way this year.

The Sox are hitting their hot streak at the perfect time. The Marlins did it last year, and the Angels did it the year before. They had mediocre seasons up until the last few months when they really stepped it up. Both teams went into the playoffs in the Wildcard spot and both teams ended up winning the World Series. The rest of the season doesn't matter. All that matters is who's hot when it counts.

It looks to me like this year it's the Red Sox's turn.
